Beta, for PJ Media staff only
Hedster is in beta and is meant for PJ Media staff. Its rules, word lists and features may change without notice.
Check before you publish
Hedster is an automated editing aid. It can miss mistakes or make changes that don't fit your story, so review every headline yourself before you publish it. It is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and Matt Margolis Media isn't responsible for headlines you publish with its help.
Word lists aren't complete
The banned and censored word lists cover common cases only. A headline with no warnings can still contain language PJ Media doesn't allow, and for stories about actual violence or sex crimes you should follow your editors' guidance.
Privacy
Your headlines are formatted in your browser. Hedster doesn't send what you type anywhere or store it. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which can see your IP address.
Trademarks
Company and outlet names used in examples or in Hedster's rules belong to their owners and are mentioned only to describe how names are styled.
